1964 Ford Thunderbird Convertible
Available now on consignment is this 1964 Ford Thunderbird convertible.
According to the consignor: "1964 Thunderbird Convertible, Rangoon Red, 390, older (90's) restoration, not perfect but very good shape. It was sitting in a storage four plus years. This T-Bird is a great cruiser / driver right now but is also a perfect car to take to the next level.
It has a clear Illinois title, original purchase documentation from Mooney Ford in Christman IL, registration, former owners' documentation, maintenance records, pictures documenting the older restoration in addition to a journal of what they did and when.
It comes with never installed white convertible top (no top currently), the fiberglass Roadster cover for the back seat (not painted), a few boxes of extra parts, T-Bird publications and documentation.
I oiled the cylinders before I manually rotated the crank, installed a new battery, re-built the carburetor, installed new plugs, new plug wires, replaced the points and condenser with a Mallory Unilite ignition, new fuel filter, oil / filter changes and installed new headlights. Installed new lifters and push rods, all cylinders have good compression. Replaced the pump on the transmission.
Rides nice but will need tie rods and a front-end alignment."
